Taking care of your marketing

I help small and medium sized founder-led, direct-to-consumer brands in the food, drink and lifestyle space make sense of the marketing mix and all the jargon that goes with it.

My mission is to bridge the gap for brands that can't justify in-house marketing resource or the fees of an external agency but need someone to lead their marketing who will hit the ground running so that they can focus on other areas of business growth.

How I work

I consult at Marketing Director level on brand strategy and development, marketing and communications plans, web design and build, packaging design, digital strategy, promotional strategy, local marketing strategy and partnership marketing.

I’m also lucky enough to have built up a network of brilliant creatives who I work closely with, but only when I need them - keeping my overheads low. This network includes designers, web developers, copywriters, photographers, social media strategists and digital advertising specialists. If you already work with an existing Agency, I’m also very happy to work alongside them and have many years experience managing cross-Agency dynamics.

I’m equally at home working with multi-million pound budgets and tiny budgets, in boardrooms and at kitchen tables and with famous brands and barely-known brands. My holistic approach comes from 20 years experience in marketing; in London creative Agencies, in-house and as a Consultant, working with some of the UK's biggest food and drinks brands including PepsiCo, United Biscuits, Danone and Budweiser as well as small founder-led specialty brands.
